Hard Time Losing pregnancy weight after 3rd baby?

I'm having a really hard time losing the weight after my third baby, I gained alomst 50 pounds (I know, I know, my own fault) and it's just not comming off like it did with the others, there's is only 17 month difference between the second and third, so maybe that has something to do with it too???? I pretty much only lost the 15 pounds right after birth...I'm not doing anything differently this time, and I'm breastfeeding. Anyone have any advice or explanation as to why??? Not feeling to great about myself lately. Thank you!

Is this a good fat Loss plan?

I am 22, 5' 6", 130. Due to a bad hip injury and back injury I cannot do something very strenuous....so..I want to flatten my stomach and tighten my inner thighs as well as get rid of the little cellulite I have.
If I eat 1300 calls a day, go to the guy 3 days for an hour...walk everyday I do not go to the gym for 20 minutes before breakfast, and 20 minutes before dinner, both at the speed of 3.6 on incline 4, and after dinner for an hour on 4 mph....will this help me slim down?

Was just told have high sugar count and doc put me on some sugar something. Said it was type 2 what ever that means. I am not sure. Company doc and not a lot of time spent and was in sort of a shock. So where do I go for GOOD info?

I gave birth 7 weeks ago and I want to start working out now that I'm healed to lose this pregnancy weight. I've already lost 22 lbs just by eating better, but I want to tone my body up. Is this a good exercise to help lose the weight?

Would my insurance cover weight loss surgery?

I am 20 years old and I weigh 215lbs and my BMI is calculated to be 38.1. I was wondering if my insurance would cover a type of surgery for weight loss. I have Tricare under my dad's name, and I was hoping that they would cover a procedure such as the lap band surgery. So if anyone out there knows a answer, please give me one.
I have also been exercising on a regular basis and eating non-fatening foods. I am still gaining weight.

My wife has diabetes,She developed this disease during her first pregnancy.Since then she started the low carb diet which controlled her diabetes.When she got pregnant with our second child she got off of the diet and hasn't done it since.Im very concerned because she's always tired and i know it's from the diabetes.She just has no kind of will power to actually stick to the diet.Can someone please giv e me some advice so I can save my wife.(only serious answers please).

How to lose weight quickly and steadily ?

QUICK WEIGHT LOSS

As days goes by people want everything to be done in a quick way. It is the same in the case of losing weight also. When people don’t find time look after their own health they want quick remedies to make them feel fit.

IMPORTANT TIPS TO BE FOLLOWED:-

Most of the people make adjustments even in these quick ways, but find no good results. When they follow these ways as a strict schedule they are able to lose weight in a short period of time.

Early morning walk for 20 to 30 minutes and 3 to 4 walnuts everyday reduces the fat from the body and helps losing in the weight. Along with these some medications are also necessary to reduce weight quicker.

The easiest way that followed in the morning for reducing weight is drinking cucumber juice in empty stomach and its helps on reducing weight till 2kg per week. It is highly effective when taken early in the morning and it gives it result when walking is accompanied with it.

The second main thing is having honey mixed with fresh lime syrup orally. This will help in reduce the weight faster than any other medications.

Among these two any one system should be followed which mentioned above.

This quick weight loss sometimes becomes unhealthy by bringing the person down the level of BMI. So frequent checking of BMI is followed along with these medications. Once the normal BMI reached, the person should change the diet. The tips followed should be continued in order to stop increasing in weight. But taking honey and water content vegetables should be controlled.

CONCLUSION: -

Quick weight loss programs should be checked and treated by physicians. It might leads to quick unhealthiness. In order to avoid sickness and to lead healthy life, the perfect diet and medications must be followed.

is this a good plan for fat loss and muscle gain?

16 year old male, looking to build mucscle, but primarily to lose fat

Cardio tue, wed, fri.
Weights mon thur sat

7am – 50g porridge oats with 300ml skimmed milk
10am ish – apple, banana, handful of raw pistachio nuts
1pm – I can of tuna, 2 slices wholemeal bread and few slices cucumber OR 1 can tuna, 70g wholemeal pasta with lettuce.

CARDIO - 4pm – smoothie, 250ml skimmed milk, 30g oats, some form of berries.1.5 TS of whey.
6pm cardio 30-40 mins interval training, 5 mins warm up, 1 min HI 1 min LI aso...
After cardio smoothie, same as earlier.

WEIGHTS - 4pm – porridge, same as above
5pm weights 1 hour full body workout.
After weights smoothie, same as before, but with table sugar

8/9 ish – dinner usually a generic dinner potatoes/pasta with meat and veggies.
Bed – 11 usually 300ml skimmed milk before.

I drink plenty of water too. All carbs low gi except for post weights. Please if there are and major flaws tell me, I need to know that im heading somewhere.

Is this a good plan for fat loss?

I am 22, 5’6”, 126 pounds and have some extra fat in lower stomach and inner thigh.

So…I do not count calories. I eat breakfast, which is a big bowl of cereal which usually holds me till dinner. Lunch will be an apple or a bar. Dinner is usually some form of meat and vegetables. I have a glass of milk before bed. Once a week I have a high day, I eat a lot and eat sweets to trick the metabolism.

I go to the guy and work out twice a week. I have a bad back, so nothing tooo intense, but I try to lift what I can. Five days out of the seven I walk on the tread mill, anywhere from 3.5 to 4 miles an hour on an incline of 10, for 20 minutes, stretch and do 20 more, and also 20 more after dinner.
I wrap my stomach and inner thighs which helps me sweat all the more.
Will this help me loose?

what is involved getting weight loss surgery?

My health is getting worse. I have talked to my dr about my weight gain for years and all she says is diet and exercise and as I been seeing her i have crept on another 30 lbs I am fat as ever now and I have tried all diets and now my knees are in pain. She refuses to even entertain the idea of the Weight loss surgery. I am in portland oregon and on I am on the providence personal option. I need a new dr or something. Because I will be 300lbs before long and my dr. will still just say diet and exercise. Hell if it was that easy I'd been done already!! this has been going on three years! I HAVE CUT out all sugar; deep friend foods> she took a thyroid test and it was normal. My family has all been obese I am fight against all odds here and its been very depressing. any serious ideas ? Please don't beat your drum about diet and exercise and furits and veggies I heard it all and tried it all. How do I get to the steps to have the surgery?

Worried about losing weight after pregnancy?

I gained 20kgs with my 1st pregnancy when I was 21, I was borderline underweight/ideal weight to begin with. And the recommended weight gain is 10-15kgs! It took me a good 6mths to lose the excess weight. I was breastfeeding and walking everywhere (since I didn't have a car).

I'm now 33 and pregnant again, and am worried now that I'm older, have a decreased metabolism, and a car, that it won't come off as fast (not that 6 months is fast anyway). I am worried I'll be too tired to exercise for the 1st few months after giving birth. I've already gained 10kgs and I'm 28wks. Which only leaves me another 5kgs to gain to be within the top range of normal weight gain for a pregnancy. I don't want to gain 20kgs again!

I was in the middle of the ideal weight range for my height at the start of this pregnancy, but am still worried I'm doomed to become an overweight person who just can't get the weight off...

Muscle lost during fat loss?

Ok, here's the specifics. I'm 26 years old, female, and currently weigh 243. I have been on a sensible weight loss plan that has cut calories and have gone from 270 to 243 in about 4 months. I have a scale at home that tells me my body fat percentage versus the lean muscle and tissue mass. As of right now I have 141lbs of lean muscle and tissue and bone and water. My question is, how much of that lean muscle tissue will I lose when I lose weight? My goal weight is just inside my max BMI of 145lbs. If I have 141lbs of lean tissue, unless I have a 3% body fat which is unlikely to happen for me, I won't ever be 145lbs. I know that muscle loss occurs during weight loss as it doesn't take as much muscle to move less weight, my question is what is the ratio? I walk on the treadmill 3x a week for 40 minutes at about 3.2mph, nothing to brag about just something to boost my weight loss. I don't feel that this will build my leg muscles or maintain the high amount of muscle I have now, and I don't plan on bodybuilding. Please if anyone knows the ratio of fat loss to muscle loss please let me know!! I don't want to know about how to lose the weight or how my diet is supposedly 'bad' according to some uneducated and misspelled guess-answer. If you don't know what you're talking about plz don't answer. Thanks for any help!

What kind of diet is for Gestational Diabetes?

I think I have the worst doctor. He told me today I have gestational diabetes and asked the nurse to give me some dietary education, but then everyone disappeared and I didn't get any education at all. I've never had this before and have no clue what to do! All they told me was that diabetes can be controlled with diet and exercise.... but no info on the kind of diet. we're going into a holiday weekend so I know I won't get any appointments with dieticians or specialists until next week or the week after at the earliest. Meanwhile, do you guys have any suggestions of simple foods to eat/diets to follow? Am I supposed to avoid sugar totally?
P.S. I am so angry at my doctor, and feel really guilty about having diabetes. Any suggestions on how to cope would be great!

What do you guys think of weight loss surgery?

So im a pretty big girl..328 pounds to be exact. I've tried everything you can think of from diets to diet pills to weight wachers and more, and I just cant lose weight. For the last couple of weeks I've been thinking about having weight loss surgery, but I'm not sure. I don't know a lot about it, I also ddon't have any health insurance, and I don't know where to start. Can anyone help me? I need some addvice.

My weight loss program is showing very quick results?

I started exercising and watching my diet three months ago, for almost 5 weeks. I lost about 3 pounds.Then I went back to my old eating pattern and no exercise.And gained back the lost weight.

One week ago I began my routine again.
This time instead of walking for an hour I began running or dancing for half an hour each day. This time the weight loss showed immediately - in a week I had lost about 4 pounds!Then I stopped the exercise and diet for 2 days and gained back 3 pounds!

I dont understand why the weight loss is working this way, and also am worried that if after I get to my desired weight I stop my weight loss routine I'll gain everything back really fast??
Or is it something to do with the kind of exercise I've chosen?

I'm planning a weight training program soon. It was suggested that I start taking a supplement. I went to its website and read all the advantages. But now I think there could be disadvantages like health risks. I have gotten the ok from my physician. I would like to start taking the supplements to reduce fat while exercising with weights.
