Exercise will help you to feel better, but if you are not eating what your body needs than that is not the answer. I would suggest a supplementation in addition to a good diet with caloric intake below 2000 calories a day. Generally speaking, about 400 mg of Magnesium, a good multivitamin as directed (not the stuff that you get at Walmart), 4000 iu Vitamin D3, 1g or a 1000mg of EPA DHA (found in fish oils), a good probiotic as directed, and psylium husk, usually covers the basic supplementation. That combined with lean meats, veggies, and fruit createa more of a complete diet. I have found that protein shakes using hemp and Maca powder definitely add a burst of energy (that is personal experience though, the other supplementation advice is based off of extensive research.) Check out the website www.deflame.com for further information.

Vit D3 is deficient in a lot of people throughout America and one of the major symptoms is fatigue. It is the reason that many Alaskans experience seasonal affect disorder (SAD) and can be supplemented.

EXERCISE!!! Talk walks!! Lots of them! It actually takes about 90 consecutive minutes of walking to burn the fat inside of you! So if you walk more often, not like weight lifting or building muscles but cardiovascular work out. That is what will make the difference. It helps you get back a healthy metabolism.
And if you haven't already, cut out fast foods and restaurants. Home cook your meals, eat more fruits and vegetables. And when you buy your groceries try looking at the ingredients and make sure none of the first 6 ingredients are sugars OR oils!
Hope this helps =}
