how to lose weight after pregnancy?

i am currently 4 months pregnant and really want to know how to lose weight quickly after pregnancy.i am 15 years old and wanted to know if age also plays a role in how quickly you lose weight?thankyou
i want to lose wight in 3 months before i go back to school.it will be over the summer

It depends on health. If you are in good health, eat right, and take care of your body while your pregnant you will have not problems. Also, breastfeeding helps the most!!! You burn alot of calories and also it helps to shrink your uterus after birth. But, for now to get a head start I would walk alot (which has been said to help women have easier labors) and eat healthy. (Just because your preggo doesn’t mean you can eat what you want like candy and ding dongs) Treat yourself to things your are craving if its chocalote or tinkies but don’t eat them with the excuse "Oh i’m pregnant its okay" because you will pay later!! I promise, and also remember if your are healthy your baby is healthy!! Good luck with everything.
Weight Watchers online. Worked very well. Don’t worry about ‘quickly’…it’s not healthy to lose weight too quickly.
Breatfeeding can really help a lot.
Its all about activity and metabolic rate.
It takes you 9 months to put it on and it’ll take about 9 to take it off. Breastfeeding is a great way to burn extra calories while doing the best thing possible for your baby if your keeping it. You can pump out the milk to give your baby while your at school probally in the nurses office throughout the day. then weight loss is like it is for anyone, cardio and waste line targeting excersized, crunches, sit ups, leg lifts.

Breastfeeding is the first way to go during your healing process. Breastfeeding will help you lose your tummy. I ate very, very small meals daily and was down to my before-pregnancy weight w/in 10days.
Young age does help in weight loss, the older you get, the harder it is to lose weight.
Breastfeeding is said to speed up weight loss.
Other than that a healthy diet and exercise should do the trick!
You are young so it should help. The big thing I tell you is don’t eat the foods that you would normally stay away from because you are pregnant. That is the worst thing you can do. Stay fit while pregnant and eat right. I was 18 with my first pregnancy I was 5ft 8 and 113. I gain 60 pounds in that pregnancy took me 2 years to get down to 132. It wasn’t m pre pregnancy weight but my body had changed. I used the excuse I am eating for two and did not exercise. With my son only gain 20 pounds it was off within the matter of months. Stay healthy while you are pregnant and you will have alot better odds of shedding the pounds after. Also make sure you only do exercises safe for pregnancy. Good luck.
breastfeeding will help a lot. But depending on how much weight you gain and your activity level, there really isn’t a way of telling you how long it will take.
Make sure you take to your ob/gyn about it at your next appointment. They can give you some idea of what to expect. If you are planning on breastfeeding you need to make sure you are still eating really healthy and eating often. But you will easily burn up those calories as you breastfeed.
Younger people can generally lose weight quicker than older people. However, younger mothers have more chances for complications, also so don’t out yourself on any eating or excersize plan until you’ve talked to your doctor.
I gained 26 pounds and lost most in about 3 months and lost the last 7 pounds after I stopped breastfeeding.
Keep your weight gain to between 25-35lbs.
After you heal from delivery begin a walking routine complimented by weight bearing excercises that you can do on the floor with your baby (ie, crunches, push up, leg lifts)…or by yourself if you are blessing another family with your baby.
Once I was healed from my c-section I began jogging with a Bob stroller and I weigh less and am much stronger now than I was before I got pregnant.(baby is 8.5 months old)
