I have had several friends who have had the procedure done, and I don't understand what the difference. They don't eat as much as they did, and they take vitamins, so really, what is the difference between the 2?

I really don't want this to seem disrespectful. Like I said I have had friends who have had the surgery. I am just trying to figure it out.
Thank you Abby, I should have clarified some things. I think Anorexia Nervosa is the wrong term. I should have said an eating disorder. I do know what anorexia is. I have suffered from it, and now I see my friends eating the same, if not less than I was eating. Why is this ok?

I've been on a weight loss journey and I have been getting depressed and frustrated lately. I wanted to do the Master Cleanse program to help me lose weight quick and hopefully keep it off. This morning I drank the salt water cleanse (32 oz water with 2 tsp sea salt). Then I dumped the whole bottle of lemon down the drain because I don't want to do the master cleanse and don't want the temptation to be there. I have suffered with an eating disorder in the past and sadly enough the thought of vomitting or diarrhea appeals to me. Anyways, I have had diarrhea all morning from the salt water cleanse. I have ate healthy since this morning. Anything I can do to help this?
I only did ONE salt water cleanse. That's it.
