I know moms frequently complain about how hard it is to lose weight after pregnancy...I can attest to that as well. I'm wondering if there is a biological/hormonal related explanation? What about women who gave birth say 2 or 3 years ago, but still have a hard time losing that weight? Is there really a setback to overcome or is it just lifestyle that people aren't admitting to? Can any type of weight gain be lost?

I used to be fat myself, so I know what I am saying here:
The weight did not pile on over night, so why is everyone looking for a quick fix on this site? There is no quick fix. The only way to lose weight and leave it off is by making some drastic changes in your lifestyle, such as cutting out sugary snacks and replacing them with healthier ones, exercising more, and eating only half of what's on the plate. If you want a quick fix-that's out there, yes, but guess what? The pounds will pile on even worse once you get off whatever diet you are on. And all those wonder drugs--from acai berry to prescription chemicals do require that you take up an exercise program and a sensible diet. There is no quick fix to lose weight. Even bariatric surgery which is performed to have one lose weight won't work--you lose the weight in a hurry all right, but then you got to run around with all that flab because the skin could not recover fast enough. And worst of all, bariatric surgery will only do for you in the first year--after that you are actually on your own.
So why do all these people look for a "fast" weight loss? If you ate the wrong foods only a few times you would not need a quick fix--if you eat the wrong food all the time then you got to change the way you eat to get the weight down. It's often not how much people eat, but what they eat that makes them fat..............

My wife and I thought we'd start a diet plan to loose some belly fat, etc. I'm 35 years old, and lead an active lifestyle. The diet plan of choice, "Fat Loss 4 Idiots". Well, I believe that you have to be an idiot to buy into this "diet plan". This was an actual day's meal plan: Peanuts and walnuts for a meal?? Really?? Turkey slices and Orange Roughy for another meal?? Third meal: a bowl of pinto beans?? Finally, shrimp and boiled eggs for your final meal?? Ewe!

GROSS!!! Basically, never eat until you're full. That's the over all plan. DUH! Ask yourself, "Is giving someone online a good diet plan?? I might lose a pound or two because I'm just sick that SOMEONE out there has my and all I have is a meager 3 lb. loss, probably all water weight, and an uneasy feeling in my belly from eating all these crazy food combinations. GASTRO-INTESTINAL NIGHTMARE!!!

I feel like such an idiot!! (no pun intended) Anyone out there know how to get your money back
