I have a better idea: Why not either make it a permanent lifestyle change, and lose the weight forever (not FOR your wedding, because that implies that after the wedding, you won’t stick to the plan and keep it off)? Anything that you do quickly won’t last, and then you’ll be back to where you are now – which is also not good for your body or your heart. Yo-yo dieting is the worst thing you can do, sweetie.
If you don’t want to make a lifestyle change forever, then instead, just accept your body AS IT IS right now. Your man does, or he wouldn’t be marrying you, right?
Sincerely, we women worry about every little bump, ripple and mark, when all our man care about is how warm we are, how good we smell, and how nice it feels to have our soft bodies pressed against theirs. They are NOT interested in our stretch marks, or our cellulite. They are interested in doing it with the lights on, so they can see our faces as we enjoy them.
Find a dress that flatters your figure, and just be happy with yourself now. If you’re over a size 10, then find something with an empire waist. This waist is a little higher than your natural waist, usually somewhere to under your bustline. If you can find something with this kind of seaming that would be great, because these kinds of dresses were made for comfort. If you can find one that has a nice, deep V-neck, it will bring all the attention up to your face, while elongating your body, and at the same time will also make you look like your legs are a mile long. Another perk is that you won’t have to suck it in all night, so that you’ll be able to EAT at your own wedding! Do you really want to watch every pound between now and the big day?? This should be an exciting time, not one riddled with anxiety for whether you’ll fit into the dress, luv !!
I’m a walking, talking advertisement for why crash diets don’t work. You’ll only lose some weight, but it will all come back on – and then some – after you stop the diet. PLEASE think about acceptance, instead ! Or, if you really want to get serious, then make it a lifestyle change that you can stick with forever. Fast fixes rarely last.
Stop eating sugar and high fructose corn syrup. Eat fruit or fruit/yogurt smoothies if you need a sweet fix. Also, avoid anything with flour in it. If you must have something with flour in it, make sure it’s wheat flour.
Stop eating processed food, try to eat food in its more natural state. Don’t eat food with a lot of sugar or salt. Hydrate with water. Another thing that works if flip your meals. Most people eat there biggest meal for dinner and smallest meal at breakfast. Flip it. Make breakfast your biggest meal that you would eat. For example cereal for dinner, and baked chicken and veggies for breakfast. Remember stick to a amount with in reason of course. Having most of your calories in the morning gives you all day to burn them off. Plus don’t eat after 5pm. If you need a snack try freezing lemon water as a treat. It gives you something to crunch or suck on which will relieve hunger.
Also don’t forget to exercise. Walking is better then running because running builds a lot of muscle. Walking at a fast pass burns a lot of calories. If you can’t exercise for long, break it up in 30 minute 3 to 4 times a day, 6 days a week. Your body will need one day to rest and recover.. Plus in day to day life…park further away from stores. So you have to walk further…Take the stairs not elevators….When watching Tv lay on the floor when there’s a commerical do as many situp’s as you can. Rest when your show returns. When you can do anymore situps. Do squats. Sitting on your couch or chair make sure your knees are as close to a 90 degree angle as you can. Then stand up with out using your arms. This will stimulate doing a squat. Anyways talk to a trainer for more ways… Good luck and Congrats…
Dietary control and exercise. It’s true what they say – all you need to do is watch what you eat, and expend more energy than you consume. It’s really that simple. You can quit reading this list now, you now know everything you need to know and didn’t need to fork over $500 for the privilege of me telling you the secret of losing weight. You don’t need to read a 4,000 page book, you don’t have to buy a tape series, you don’t need to stay up late at night to watch infomercials to understand this basic premise. It’s 100% true.
