What worked best for you to lose weight after pregnancy?
Besides breastfeeding, because I've tried everything to increase my milk and I barely get 2 oz total after pumping 4-5 times a day.
I've been told to be patient, but I'd really like to fast-track the process. I currently excercise 3 times a week for an hour or so (20 mins body combat or dance aerobics followed by weightlifting, low weights high reps, situps and pushups). I started this a month ago but i've only lost a kg and i still have unhealthy fat all over me.
I try to eat pretty healthy, but since I'm trying to increase milk, I can't decrease meals or take chinese meds for weight loss.
What worked for you?

If you’re brestfeeding/ expressing then you actually need to be eating an additional 500 calories a day, rather than dieting or restricting your food. A diet that is restricted may lead to poor milk production. Try eating fennel, oats, and pumping more than 5 times a day (sadly including at night time!!), as breast milk is a supply and demand thing.
The old rule "9 months on 9 months off" is a very wise old saying- your body went through a lot with the pregnancy, labour and birth, and now is not the time to be depriving it of anything, or entering a heavy exercise programme. It will come off on its own eventually. Remember celebs have nannies/ personal trainers and don’t live in the real world, so their post baby bodies are unrealistic xx
I hate to break it to you, but I was exactly the same way (low milk supply, couldn’t diet heavily but wanted quick results =D), and in the end, I had to wait until I’d finished breastfeeding to do anything effective for weight loss. When I was breastfeeding, I probably could’ve lost weight slowly but I really lack motivation unless I am seeing results.
Once I finished breastfeeding (my daughter was 12.5 months), I was able to cut my diet right down and exercise much more vigorously (while still being healthy with my eating of course…I didn’t starve). I have now lost all my pregnancy weight (which was heaps…I stacked on 20kgs), and some. I have a bit more to go til my ideal weight but I am working away at it.
I’d also recommend having a partner to help keep you motivated and honest. I teamed up with another Y!A user and with regular emails, we’ve both been very successful at shedding the kilos.
Good luck!
Drink at least 10-12 glasses of water every day. Replace your high sugar beverages such as sodas and juices with some water and a squeeze of fresh lemon. You could also try flavored seltzer water which has no calories. You can cut out hundreds of calories a day this way.
Keep healthy snacks handy such as raisins, popcorn, wheat crackers, and nuts. Refuse to buy store-bought baked goods or junk food.
Eat lean meats such as boneless chicken and the leanest cuts of beef to help lose pregnancy weight
Eat whole grains (breads, cereals, pastas) instead of the “white” versions
