High protein WORKS!!! Hard boiled eggs, string cheese, lean ham and turkey. Make simple salads as well with these ingredients. Also, eat 6 times a day, not full meals of course. One egg as a snack or one string cheese in between….

i am in my second week of it and I have lost 8 pounds in a week and a half
weight watchers is good. i lost about 20lbs in 3 months.
if you don’t need to lose weight per say but just want to be smaller, try a slimming body wrap the day before. i lost almost 12 inches on my first wrap. the results are usually temporary though, so it’s not a real weight loss method.
if you just need some smoothing and shaping, get Spanx (http://www.spanx.com). it really works!
If you’ve got a month, do Weight Watchers online, you can pay the money and get started right away. If you only have a couple of weeks, then just buckle down and eat Special K or Cheerios with skim milk for breakfast and lunch, and then a moderate dinner. Walking 30 minutes a day helps kick-start your metabolism too. It’s only a couple of weeks, you can do it.
I don’t know how long you have, but if you have a few weeks this should work. I went on calorieking.com, you put in your info and find out how many calories you should be eating. Then stick to that. It sucks to have to look up calories on everything but it works. I was shocked when I started to look up some of the things I’d been eating! You can eat whatever you want, as long as you stay within the daily limit.
I’ve cut out most carbs (except fruit) and I’ve already lost a dress size!!
i started the south beach diet. i lost 10 lbs in 5 wks and didn’t exercise. i probly could have lost 5-10 more if i had exercised…
i’m still on it and know i lost more but haven’t had access to a scale to know how much
you only sacrifice your fave foods the first 2 wks then you add them back slowly

Weight Watchers, Jenny Craig, Strict diets, all that stuff wasn’t for me, it’s hard for a lot of people.
